Dive Instructors: -

Our high season runs from May through to November and we often employ Dive Instructors for the season. Prior to making an application, it's is necessary for applicants to be qualified and have current teaching status with any major certification agency. However, as a PADI Golden Palm Instructor Development Centre, we would give preference to PADI Instructors, although we also offer SSI, NASDS, and NAUI training.

Upon a successful application for a position, if the prospective employee is not Bermudian or does not have Bermudian status, then it is necessary for the employer to apply for a work permit from The Bermuda Immigration Department. The employer will forward all documentation to the prospective employee. Once the work permit is returned and all required documentation correct, the employer will submit the permit for approval. This process typically takes up to 8 weeks to be processed. After the permit has been approved, the applicant will be allowed to travel to Bermuda.

Additional qualifications are required to teach scuba in Bermuda. All Scuba Instructors must take and pass the ‘Bermuda Scuba Instructor License’. This examination includes both practical assessment and a written examination. All staff must also be certified in CPR and hold an Oxygen Administration qualification which must be less than 2 years old.

During the summer months we are always happy to employ student returning home from school overseas.
