As a PADI International
Resort Association Gold Palm Instructor Development Centre,
Blue Water Divers is authorised to teach the full range of
diving courses. We offer everything from the Bubblemaker Program
for the kids to splash around in the pool to Instructor Development
Course to prepare candidates for the PADI Instructor Evaluation.
The
PADI Bubblemaker program is for youngster - kids ages 8 - 11. It
introduces young adventures to the thrill of breathing underwater.
With a qualified PADI Instructor, and in the convenience of a pool,
kids take the plunge to experience another world - the underwater
world.
The
PADI Seal Team, is a program for children eight years of age
and older that keeps kids diving until they are old enough
take the PADI Junior Scuba Diver or Junior Open Water Diver
program. The PADI Seal Team program has a total of 15 "AquaMissions",
but after the first five AquaMissions, participants become
PADI Seal Team Members. Then, PADI Seal Team Members complete
10 specialty recreational and educational AquaMissions to become
PADI Master Seal Team Members.
On

Diving? Try it today with our Introductory Level "Resort
Course!" Find out why millions of people enjoy SCUBA diving,
and decide for yourself whether this exciting and rewarding activity
is for you! This course is not a PADI course. The standards are
set by the Bermuda Government and the Instructors have all passed
International Instructor qualifications in addition to being
evaluated and examined annually as Licensed Bermuda Scuba Instructors.
In
addition to our Instructor level training. We are pleased to
offer the entire range of diving courses from PADI. From entry
levelScuba Diver, where you will be introduced to the underwater
environment gradually, on to Open Water Diver learning more skills
then Adventure and Advanced Open Water Diver where you will get
the chance to try other aspects of scuba sampling such things
as Night Diving, Wreck Diving and Deep Diving. Rescue Diver will
teach you about assisting other divers and assisting medical
professionals and preparing you for leadership level training.
The
Divemaster certification allows you to assist in teaching PADI
courses, plan and guide dives for certified divers, and independently
conduct several experience programs in the PADI system. With
your first "Black" C-Card you are employable in the
diving industry! Move on tobecome an Assistant Instructor, Open
Water Instructor, and beyond.
The
Instructor Development Course (IDC) is the first step beyond
Divemaster and Assistant Instructor on the route to the first
level Instructor rating. Candidates will review PADI Standards,
procedures, philosophies and teaching methods as well as hone
their practical teaching ability, watermanship and diving knowledge.
After successfully completing a PADI Instructor Examination (IE),
You will take responsibility for introducing people to scuba
diving through various PADI programs and courses. Teaching Status
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors (OWSI) may conduct the entire
range of PADI courses up to and including Divemaster (except
for Specialty Courses which require specific Specialty Instructor
ratings).

The
Emergency First Response Course is designed to meet Basic CPR and First
Aid requirements for all PADI diving and Leadership courses,
and for the lay-person seeking CPR/First Aid training for personal
enhancement or community service. It does not cover advanced
resuscitation techniques or EMT/Paramedic level techniques.
The
Guided Snorkel Certificate Program, is a safe, fun way to discover
Bermuda's underwater wonderland. Our 3 part course consists of
learning the snorkeling skills listed below, gaining environmental
awareness of local marine Flora and Fauna and culminates with
a guided tour of the coral reef. This is another course that
we formulated ourselves and is geared towards large groups such
as conventions and family reunions.
Equipment is included
with in the pricing of the PADI Open Water, Junior Open Water
and Scuba Diving
Courses. Please note that equipment is extra for all other
courses.
